It’s been a while since an update, and in the last few months, the portfolio has been steadily growing. First, we had 3 months of green numbers, and in August and September, we saw a little correction on the total portfolio. I will change up the numbers a little, because we are not doing a month to month comparison anymore.
Capital Growth Portfolio
The Saxo portfolio is down -1.77% all-time performance. The return on investment is quite disappointing.
Portfolio value: €7465.77
Total deposits: €7600
Retirement Fund Portfolio
The retirement fund is up 1.71% in total, so far this portfolio has always done a little better than my capital growth portfolio.

Index Fund & Stock Portfolio
I still haven’t decided what route to go here; I’m slightly underperforming compared to the market, which is to be expected. However, I’m having a lot of fun purchasing company stocks instead of ETFs. If I decide to go the dividend route, I will definitely keep looking for company stocks as well as dividend ETFs.
I actually had the highest dividend payout ever in September, I kinda like having that outlook

Ideal allocation (December 2022):

If you want to start investing, the platform I’m investing on is DeGiro, but you can also invest on other platforms like eToro.
The total ROI has been really great here, but this is mainly thanks to the joining bonuses, which have now been discontinued.

The first dividend will be received in 2025, and repayments will start in 2029, so there are no short-term gains in sight, but I really like reducing the carbon dioxide footprint while investing.

The first red month of the year for the existing assets, but the portfolio is up 2.31%, because of a €200 deposit. It seems there is nothing to worry about yet, it’s an expected pullback after three months of green.
The rest of the assets are still growing slowly because of the interest. Swissborg is giving me a 4.5% yield on my bitcoin and 7.75% on my USDC.
I also want to remind everyone how important it is to keep most of your crypto off the exchanges you are trading on. I keep mine on a Ledger.

Ideas for Q4
In the coming months, it is time to add some to the cash position and invest a little more in crypto if the crypto portfolio doesn’t turn around. This will be needed to keep the 20% allocation.
- Quarterly updates instead of monthly updates. I will publish the first quarterly update in October and move from there.
